History of the Mosaic Belly Dance Fusion Show
For over the past decade, Ishra and Invoketress Dance have been pushing the creative envelope by organizing and hosting their much-anticipated Belly Dance fusion show - a production that takes Belly Dance and fuses it with many other dance forms. This highly acclaimed show was formerly known as the “Mish Mash Belly Bash.” In 2012, Invoketress changed the name to “MOSAIC” Belly Dance Fusion Show to represent the melding of artistic expressions and dance styles with Belly Dance. The show is now held every two years in order to properly prepare for and create outstanding numbers for a truly memorable, professional, high caliber show. Guest performers are carefully selected by their talent and innovation. Each show has a theme that focuses the show’s pieces and to build context.
